Veterinarian
Dr. Sarah Povilauskas was born and raised on Long Island, NY. Her passion to support and grow the human animal bond is what she enjoys the most about her profession.
She graduated from Cornell University with her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science before she received her Veterinary degree from the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
After coming home from being abroad she began to work as a small animal practitioner in Florida. After being away from family for too long and yearning for cooler weather, she moved back up to the northeast.
Dr. Povilauskas took a brief hiatus from general practice, during which she worked for the USDA in food safety, before moving up to Massachusetts to join Best Pets.
Her medical interests include soft tissue surgery, pathology and ultrasound. Outside of work she enjoys backpacking, hiking, snowboarding, cross country skiing, surfing and chilling with her “skinny pig” Guinea pigs.
