Meet Our Team

Mia joined our team while still finishing her degree in veterinary technology at UMass Amherst, Mount Ida Campus.

Holly is a graduate of UMass Lowell with a BS in Biology. Since 2016, she has been working at a local dog rescue that facilitates the transfer of homeless and surrendered dogs to new caring homes.

Alaina graduated from the two-year veterinary technology program at North Shore Community College. She also passed the Veterinary Technicians National Examination and is now a CVT.

Mia has been a veterinary technician since 2017. She is originally from sunny California. Mia has always had a passion for caring for animals since she was young. Her favorite breed is a dachshund and is lucky enough to have 2 of them at home with her parents in California.

Dakota has been a veterinary technician since 2019. She attended the University of Tampa for Biology. She is dedicated to being a voice for animals and her career as a vet tech has been both challenging and fulfilling.

Madi has been in veterinary medicine since 2022 but has volunteered her summers since high school. Madi is originally from the sunshine state of Florida. She attended the University of George for Animal Science.

Nick has joined the team with 3+ years in emergency and specialty veterinary medicine and many more years in customer service. His experience in emergency and specialty veterinary care brings valuable insights and skills to the table.

Catherine's journey in the field of animal care began with her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Rhode Island in 2022. Since then, she's been driven by her passion for animals and her desire to excel in her career.

Tatjana has been a veterinary assistant since 2021. Her journey from assisting strays in Thailand and Austria to pursuing a career in veterinary medicine is inspiring.

I have been a vet assistant at Best Pets Vet since June 2022 and have worked in veterinary medicine for about four years. Currently, I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology at UMass Amherst.
